A Family Legacy of Caring...

Robert D. Webster is the owner of The Webster Funeral Home and a lifetime resident of the Hamilton-Fairfield area. Bob graduated from Miami University and the Cincinnati College of Mortuary Science. A licensed funeral director and embalmer since 1977, most recently employed at the Brown-Dawson Funeral Home in Hamilton. Bob is the youngest son of John K. and Martha Webster. John K. Webster recently retired after a long career as business agent, financial secretary and arbitrator for the AFL-CIO International Chemical Workers Union. Martha Webster, who recently passed away, was executive director of the American Cancer Society in Hamilton, and was instrumental in establishing the very first Hospice Unit in Butler County. Bob's brother, John D. Webster is also a licensed funeral director and embalmer since 1973. Bob's oldest sister, Gale Browning retired after a long career in nursing, and served as charge nurse on 2East (Surgical Unit) at Mercy Hospital for many years. Bob's youngest sister, Susan Hendrickson is currently in her 31st year as a labor and delivery nurse at Fort Hamilton Hospital. Bob and his wife, Mel (Wright) Webster both graduated from Garfield High School and were married in 1975. They are the parents of Anna Webster, Michael Webster, now a duly licensed funeral director and embalmer, and Ben, who will begin his studies at The Cincinnati College of Mortuary Science in September 2006.
