To the greatest childhood best friend a kid could have - thank you for your friendship, your caring and your love - you will be missed! My extended family and I send our deepest condolences and healing prayers of comfort to the entire Davis/Dorman/Perkins/Martin/Fait families. From the time Bobby and I met in 6th grade Social Studies, it was like I had found someone who filled a hole I did not know was empty. I was drawn to his welcoming personality and I remember becoming fast friends. Some of my best times growing up were with Bobby and I greatly enjoyed trying to spend every possible minute we could together and all of the adventures we had as we made our way through middle school and high school. To the entire family, thank you all for your kindness through the years and for always treating me as one of your own. I remember fondly so much of the time we spent together and many of you had such a large impact on me. There were long trips to the country to spend time with family, lessons in the school parking lot to learn how to drive a stick shift, late evening chats with Brandy coming in from being out with friends, overnights at just about every family member's house, Grandma Davis sowing my name in my (Bobby matching) Starter jacket, life lessons with Grandpa Davis while he affectionately called us "young, punk kids" :), New Year's Eve parties, and the many boating and houseboating trips to Cumberland. The memories are endless, and I still cherish them all – THANK YOU! I think of Bobby often and have regretted that we fell out of touch so many years ago. Maybe we will meet again someday but, in the meantime, I will hold the memory of my friend close and forever cherish our friendship for all those years. Rest is peace, dear friend...

Bobby was one of our friend groups' most bright and shining lights. He, like Keith, another light too bright to shine for long, act as two guiding stars for the three of us original five that remain. I hate a lot of things about this but the one part that might be the most beautiful and that I can fully accept is: "In order to know where you are now-you need a point of reference. In order to know where you are going-you too-also need that point to recognize." I may have been lead into misdirection throughout my life but I fear for that situation no further; for I have Keith to let me always know where I am, and Bobby to guide me safely where I am going. I will forever miss you Bobby, till forever is over.

Bobby has been like family of my own since 2016. He's my best friend's cousin and has seen me through some of my worst times. I will never forget you Bobby, you deserved so much more than this ending ♥️

Bobby was one of my sons Keith's best friends. When my son passed in 2015, he made a beautiful memory board that now is framed and hangs in my living room. Now in remembrance of 2 young men gone too soon!
