Obituary For Boyd McNabb

Boyd Lewis McNabb of Hamilton, Ohio passed away on May 5, 2021 surrounded by his family at home. He was born in Hamilton, Ohio to the late Harrison and Ora (Wright) McNabb. He served as a medic in the United States Army and was then employed by AK Steel for 36 years, retiring in 1990. Boyd married Linda (Campbell) in 1977 and were happily married for 43 years. He was an active member of East River Road Baptist Church. Over the years, Boyd served in many capacities of the church including deacon, usher, building committee, trustee, finance committee, and any other area where he could assist. Boyd was an avid outdoorsman and enjoyed fishing, hunting, and boating. He was at his happiest when he was outdoors enjoying nature. He is survived by his wife Linda (Campbell) McNabb, daughter Kim Prather; son-in-love Roie Prather; grandchildren Kiel (Meghan), Blayke (Haley), Maycee; his brother Kenneth (Shirley); sisters-in-law Imogene McNabb, Peggy Smith (Dawson); sister-in-love Vonda Miracle and many nieces and nephews. He was preceded in death by his parents and brothers Donald (Norma), David, and Buster. The family would like to extend their deepest appreciation to Hospice of Cincinnati, and especially his nurse Emily, for their kind and compassionate care. Boyd was such a wonderful, caring man who loved his family with his whole heart. Was a very faithful member of East River Road baptist and served in any capacity he could. This is where Bryan and I met Linda and Boyd and became very good friends. So thankful to count them among my friends. Will miss you Boyd ❤️
