I only knew Carroll for a brief time but was happy to be his friend during that time. Sorry for your loss, Vev

I did not know Carroll, but remember so many of the siblings and of course, his parents. My Daddy, Bernard Ryan, and Garland were close friends back in the horse and buggy days, and would race each other in their buggies. Beautiful obituary about a young man with solid roots who went on and made a wonderful life for himself. He came from a great way of life and went onto another great life. Condolences to all. Loved the Garland and Louise Luckett family. SueAnn Ryan Warms

Veverly, Just saw this about Carroll! Karen and I just sat here and started sharing the memories we had with you and Carroll. A lot of good memories! I especially with going to the horse races, playing cards, talking reds, bengals, and uk and having lunch together when we worked together. Also loved the stories about the large family he shared. Vev, our prayers are with you and your lovely family. We now live in Philadelphia so we will not be able to attend the funeral.
