I have such fond memories of Cody when he was a student at CHCA. He was such a great young man! Each time I saw him, he would flash a big smile which would light up any room. He always had a positive attitude in school and on the soccer field. I have heard that grief is the price we pay for love. My thoughts and prayers are with the family as they grieve for Cody who was and is truly loved!

Cody was my best friend and I will always miss him. He had this bright, positive energy that uplifted every conversation. A child like excitement that made everything more fun. He was unique. And I will forever cherish my memories with him.

Cody and I have been best friends since 15 years. Ever since we met in college. After college, I left the US and came back to India. But he always made sure that despite being thousands of miles apart, I never felt his absence. Like I do today. Me and Nick will miss him forever. His brother, Vik.

Cody was one of the first students to reach out to a new student at CHCA, our son John, in 2003. Cody was kind and fun and the boys really enjoyed playing soccer together. We all enjoyed having Cody in our lives during that time. Jack and Carol Horvath

The many friends whose lives were touched by Cody is a testament to the kind of young man he was. He was a great friend to our son Nick, a fierce Cornhole competitor and he will be missed by many. Our sincere condolences to his family. Tony & Betty Jernigan

I've worked with Cody for 8 years. I was his direct supervisor for most of those. Overseeing customer service, I never had to worry about Cody. It was his personal goal to make sure everyone he talked to had a great experience, and left the call or chat smiling and happy. He would always be so excited if someone called in overly frustrated and they left laughing and happy because he knew he did what he set out to do. He quickly learned what made his coworkers and customers happy, and did what he could to make that happen. He knew my favorite candy and would "sneak" them on my desk while I protested that I didn't need it. He would smile and walk away, knowing I would eat them after he left. He was a good person and will be greatly missed by myself and all of his colleagues.

We are forever grateful for the time you were in our lives and will be eternally sad for the time you now won't be. Intelligent, funny, kind and fiery ready for a debate, usually political, but that was ok. Best dog dad ever. Our hearts are broken for his family as well as our loss as you were part of ours. Hope Banjo was the first soul you got to see. Prayers and love. We are going to deeply miss you Cody. You had our daughters heart and forever will.

I've had the honor of getting to know Cody over the past year through work. I'm not sure I ever spoke to him where you wasn't wearing a big smile and just overflowing with positivity. My hope is through this difficult time there can be time to not only grieve the loss but celebration and remembrance of Cody's life and the impact he had on all those he interacted with. My deepest condolences to family, friends and loved ones.
