Mrs. Maher was always like a second mom to me growing up. She never pulled punches and always offered great advice to me and told me how things really were. I always appreciated her love and kindness and great sense of humor. She was always there to ensure I felt like part of the family whenever I came to hang out. Love you Debbie, you are missed.

Debbie was a real sweetie, and I always enjoyed her company when the family gathered. I wish I had known her longer, and I am so sorry she has passed. I will miss her.

I will miss you and the larger than life smile but I will always have our road trip to Toledo to support our favorite band. You, Carla and me and let's not forget the Toledo zoo experience what a blast and we did it all on only $20. You helped make the 70s the best time ever. I will love you forever my sweet friend.

I have known Debbie for over 50 years. She was one of the kindest, sweetest, funny, generous, caring and loving people I have ever known. So beautiful, inside and out. I have so many wonderful memories of Debbie. I can't believe I talked her into trying out for cheerleading our sophomore year! She was one of a kind. Her laugh was contagious and her smile infectious. She was one of my best friends in school. We had a lot of great times together! She worked hard, played hard and loved hard. When she loved you she loved with her whole heart. And when she loved it was forever. She always thought of others. Even though she was suffering and fighting the good fight she still managed to comfort me recently. I love Debbie. I always will. And I will miss her until I see her again. You've got your wings now Deb. Spread them wide and fly high!

I didn't know Debbie well, but she had such a sweet soul. I met Debbie her husband and one of their sons at the cocoa beach pier when they were visiting. Added them on fb and been friends with them since. Loved seeing all their family photos and receiving comments and likes on mine as well. Not everyday where you meet people from out of town that are so kind and open and not judgmental. Rest In Peace Debbie <3
