Joyce was our neighborhood watchdog, and she didn't mince words if something wasn't to her liking. But she was always so kind, especially to our kids and our dogs. Watching Joyce tend to her house and yard could easily make one feel like a slouch, she was like the Energizer Bunny! We have missed her. I'm sure she's already fussing with George and that's just where she belongs, lol. Our sympathies to you, Nancy and Skylyn. -Kim and Brad Shaffner, Winchester Pl.

Mrs. Chapman was my neighbor while I was growing up in Fairfield. Her and George were always so kind to me. When I would get off the bus after elementary and middle school, if they were outside, they would always take a few minutes to talk with me to see how was day went. I was very sad to hear of her passing. Her family will be in my thoughts.
