Obituary For Roberta Ann Keever

Roberta Ann Keever passed from this life on October 13, 2021 at the age of sixty-eight. Bobbie, as she was known to family and friends, was born July 27, 1953 in Ft Polk LA to Charles R Martin and Billie Smith. Bobbie was the youngest of three daughters. The Martins were a military family and moved often during Bobbie's childhood before settling in Indiana. A graduate of Southport High School, Bobbie began working as an optical assistant while still in school. She went on to become a licensed optician and served faithfully in that capacity for five decades. Many of her co-workers became cherished lifelong friends. On January 23, 1972, Bobbie married the love of her life, Steve Keever, in Plainfield IN. The couple eventually settled in Cincinnati OH and would've celebrated their 50th wedding anniversary next year. Steve and Bobbie were blessed with two wonderful daughters and three precious granddaughters: Leighton Chard (Mike), Grace, Ava of Liberty Township OH and Allison Anderson (Dave Biggs), Emma of West Chester OH. Family was Bobbie's greatest joy, her whole world. She devoted her life to being a dedicated wife, mother and Gram. Bobbie loved nothing more than spending time at home with her cherished ones. Bobbie is survived by her devoted husband Steve, her daughters Leighton and Allison, granddaughters Grace, Ava, Emma and two sisters Linda Nichols and Brenda Stokes, both of Sevierville TN and numerous nieces and nephews. The family appreciates the dedicated staff of Hospice of Cincinnati and suggests that, in lieu of flowers, donations be made in Bobbie's memory. Condolences

  • My Gram was the most beautiful person I've ever known. She was more like a second mother than a grandmother, I miss her terribly. She's a huge reason why I am who I am today. Thank you Gram, for everything. For all the amazing memories, the lessons I'll never forget, and most importantly the unconditional love, all I can say is thank you. I love you to the moon and back Gram. You are always in my heart. ❤️ Emma
