- Michele Melvin age 63 of Cincinnati and formerly of Milford, Delaware passed away Friday January 12, 2024. She was born November 13, 1960 in Milford, Delaware the daughter of the late Albert Clough and Lois Carpenter Clough. She worked as a dispatcher for Prime Care Medical Transport for over 20 years. She was life member of the South Bowers Fire Department and was an EMT, joining in 1995. She was past president of the Ladies Auxillary of the fire department. Mrs. Melvin was an EMS officer and served as secretary for over 20 years. She enjoyed cooking, crocheting, and attending quarter auctions. She is survived by three children Christopher Clough, John (April) Wothers, and Beth (Douglas Cooper) Jones; and granddaughter Elli Dukes. In lieu of flowers memorial contributions would be appreciated to the South Bowers Fire Department, 57 Scott Corner Road, Milford, Delaware 19963. A Celebration of Life service will take place Friday February 2, 2024 at 5:00 PM with Pastor Robert Draper, III officiating. A repast will follow. A private family burial will take place at the convenience of the family.
