Adalyn B. Mayer

Adalyn Bush Mayer, age 81, of West Chester passed away on Friday September 6, 2019 with her children and close friends by her side. Adalyn was born on May 20, 1938 in Camilla, Georgia to the late Winston and Angeline (nee Denson) Bush. Her career spanned across the areas of Education as a nursery school teacher and Human Resources as an HR Specialist with Rotex until her retirement. She is survived by four children Ashley Berg, Doug Mayer, Lane Mayer, and Jason Mayer; and six grandchildren, Lucas Berg, Brice Berg, Miles Berg, Grant Mayer, Drew Mayer, and Laney Mayer. She also leaves behind several other close family members and friends. Adalyn was preceded in death by her sister Angeline "Angie" Bush-Fifield. Arrangements have been set for Saturday, October 12, 2019 at THE WEBSTER FUNERAL HOME 3080 Homeward Way at Rt. 4, Fairfield. A visitation will be held from 2-4, followed by a memorial service from 4-5. In lieu of flowers and in honor of Adalyn’s love for dogs, donations in her name may be made to the Animal Friends Humane Society of Butler County.
