Amos Sams

Amos Sams age 95 of Harrison, Ohio passed away Thursday August 8, 2019. He was born August 21, 1923 in Rockcastle County, Kentucky the son of the late Alfred and Maggie Mae (nee Clark) Sams. He was married to Audrey Sams and she preceded him in death on November 11, 2017. Mr. Sams was a veteran of the U. S. Army serving in World War II. He worked for many years a union carpenter. Mr. Sams was a member of the College Hill-Harry S. Johnson Masonic Lodge #641. He is survived by his grandson Erik (Tara) Sams; great grandchildren Kannon, Jared, and Jagger; and three brothers Fred (Chris) Sams, Burgess Sams, and Herman Sams. He was also preceded in death by several siblings. Visitation at THE WEBSTER FUNERAL HOME 3080 Homeward Way at Rt. 4, Fairfield on Wednesday August 14, 2019 from 10:00 AM until the time of the Masonic service at 10:45 AM, followed by the funeral service at 11:00 AM with Pastor Barry Wilson, officiating.
