Barbara J. Gilley

Barbara J. Gilley-Fields age 57 of Hamilton passed away Thursday March 22, 2018. She was born April 6, 1960 in Catania, Sicily the daughter of the late Rex and Dolores (nee Hickey) Gilley. Barb was a 1978 graduate of Garfield High School. She was known as a very giving person with a big heart. She enjoyed gambling and greatly enjoyed socializing with a large group of close friends. She was member of the Women’s auxiliary of the VFW Post 1069 in Fairfield and the American Legion Post 138 in Hamilton. Barb is survived by her husband Vander Fields; two step children Vander Fields, Jr. and Steven M. (Kristi) Fields; four siblings Myron Gilley, Sharon (Jerry) Lykins, Linda (Jack) Buhi, and Vera Whicker. Barb is also survived by numerous nieces and nephews. Visitation at THE WEBSTER FUNERAL HOME 3080 Homeward Way at Rt. 4, Fairfield on Monday March 26, 2018 from 10:00 AM until the time of the funeral service at 11:00 AM.
