Bertha Lee "Sandy" Fields

Bertha Lee “Sandy” Fields age 89 of Hamilton passed away Saturday September 15, 2018. She was born March 17, 1929 in Lily, Kentucky the daughter of the late Elmer and Erie (nee Lee) Bryant. On May 31, 1948 she married Arthur Denzil “Art” Fields, Sr., and he preceded her in death on August 17, 2009. Mrs. Fields worked in the benefits department at Fort Hamilton Hospital for several years and was a member of Bridgewater Church. She is survived by one son Arthur D. (Karen) Fields, Jr.; three daughters Carol Yvonne (Timothy) Baumann, Paula Fields, and Linda Lee (Bob) Herbert; eight grandchildren Sarah (Tim) Coleman, Susan (Jeremy) Townsley, Adam (Elise) Baumann, Rachel, Elizabeth, and Amanda Herbert, and Carly and Tracy Fields; thirteen great grandchildren Nathan, Hannah, Daniel, Andrew, Abigail, Colton, Alaina, and Jessi Coleman; McKenna and Kyla Townsley; and Brodie, Solomon, and Ezra Baumann; and her siblings Louise (the late Jerry) Lynn, Noel (Alma) Bryant, and Eddie (Imogene) Bryant. Mrs. Fields was also preceded in death by her siblings Lucy Howard, Carl Bryant, Lydia Evans, Ruth Sack, Ruby Noe, and Muriel Peters. Visitation at THE WEBSTER FUNERAL HOME 3080 Homeward Way at Rt. 4, Fairfield on Saturday September 22, 2018 from 10:00 AM until the time of the funeral service at 12:00 PM.
