Carl Bundy

Beloved husband, father, papaw. brother and friend, Carl Bundy, entered fully into the presence of his Lord and Savior the morning of October 9, 2020 after a long struggle with heart disease. Carl was born in Oneida, KY on July 27, 1947 to Orus and Georgia (Brown) Bundy. He graduated from Bush High School in 1965. He married the love of his life, Donna Sue Rudder, July 1, 1967 in their hometown of London, KY. Carl worked most of his adult life for, and retired from, Beckett/International Paper. He never called off sick in the 24 years of employment there. As a Deacon at Cherry Valley United Baptist church in Hamilton, he was a living testimony of faith, devotion, and perseverance. Carl had a life long passion for horses and enjoyed many years of riding trails. Family and friends have many fond memories and stories to share of their adventures on horseback. Carl is survived by his wife, Donna Sue Bundy; children, C. Stephen Bundy (Christina), Donna Carol Bundy, and Son in Law Willie Barker; grandchildren, Matthew Barker, Kaitlyn Stanton (Jeremy), Jacob Bundy, Samantha Barker and Adam Bundy; siblings, Charlie Bundy, Larry Bundy, Sophie Crumpler and Wayne Bundy all of London, Ky. He is preceded in death by his parents and daughter, Lee Ann Barker. Visitation at THE WEBSTER FUNERAL HOME 3080 Homeward Way at Rt. 4, Fairfield on Thursday October 15, 2020 from 10:00 AM until the time of the funeral service at 12:00 PM, with Pastor Clophas Shackelford, officiating.
