Carroll Luckett

Carroll Luckett age 89 of Fairfield passed away on Monday May 16, 2022. He was born on a farm in Lebanon, KY. He was one of 12 children of the late Garland and Louise (nee Spalding) Luckett. Carroll left Kentucky at 18 to join the United States Air Force. He went on to graduate from the University of Dayton. He retired from Avco International after 23 years of service as an electrical engineer. He loved traveling, horse racing, golf, and playing cards. Later in his life his grandchildren were his heart. He is survived by his loving wife Veverly Luckett of almost forty years of marriage; five children Robin (Randy) Webb, Scott Luckett, Jennifer Luckett, Beth Luckett, and Greg (Nancy) Luckett; two step children Todd Hamm and Tiffany (Steve Silverburg) Henwood; six grandchildren Casey Stephenson, Serina Ricchiuti, Jade Henwood, Sage Blazek, Savannah Jacobus, and Josh Jacobus; four great grandchildren Travin, Jack, Caroline, and Braxton; six siblings Buddy Luckett, Effie Lucas, Libby Nalley, Darlene Thomas, Frankie Thomas, and Peggy Jones. He also leaves behind many nieces, nephews, other family and close friends. He was preceded in death by five siblings Nevita Caldwell, Larry Luckett, Kenny Luckett, Thomas Luckett, and Kevin Luckett. Visitation will be on Monday May 23, 2022 at THE WEBSTER FUNERAL HOME 3080 Homeward Way at Rt. 4, Fairfield from 9:00AM until the time of the funeral at 10:30AM with Pastor Barry Wilson officiating.
