Charlotte Gray

Charlotte D. Gray age 90 of Hamilton passed away Wednesday April 23, 2025 at Hospice of Hamilton. She was born July 13, 1934 in Hamilton, Ohio the daughter of the late William B. Campbell and Jessie (Nash) Campbell. She was married to Bryan Gray and he preceded her in death in 1986. Mrs. Gray retired from Pierre/Gordon Foods working as a line inspector. She was a faithful member of the Pater Avenue Free Pentecostal Church of God and was a lady of great faith. Her greatest joy in life was to sing in church. She was a loving mother and a great cook. Mrs. Gray was a benevolent person who happily served others in the community through outreach ministries and food pantries. She is the beloved mother of William (Pauletta) Gray, Jr., the late Danny Gray, Hope (Rick) Adams, Rodney (Brenda) Gray, Penny Gray, and Denise (Darryl) McCoy; loving grandmother of Tracy, Bryan, Rachel, Danny, Melissa, Bryan, Natasha, Breana, Steven, Jacob, Lukas, Kaylee, Matthew, Riley, and Hannah; also surviving are great grandchildren, great great grandchildren and two brothers Joe (Marilyn) Campbell, and Jessie (the late Sue) Campbell. Mrs. Gray was also preceded in death by her siblings Charlie (the late Bertha) Campbell, Enos (the late Daisy) Campbell, Kenny (the late Mary) Campbell, Dave Campbell, Buster (the late Winnie) Campbell, Howard (the late Maxine) Campbell, Mildred (the late Earl) Link, Paul (Yvonne) Campbell, and Thelma (the late Dewey) Proffitt. The family wishes to express their sincere thanks to Hospice of Hamilton for their compassionate care of Mrs. Gray. Visitation on Tuesday April 29, 2025 at the Pater Avenue Free Pentecostal Church of God, 1321 Pater Avenue, Hamilton from 9:30 AM until the time of the funeral service at 11:30 AM, with Pastor Darryl McCoy, Pastor Dennis Matheny, and Pastor Jack Roberts, officiating.
