Cornelia Jones

Cornelia Jones age 78 of Hamilton passed away Wednesday September 25, 2019 at Hospice of Hamilton. She was born August 21, 1941 in East Bernstadt, Kentucky the daughter of the late George and Flora (nee Carter) Watkins. On January 26, 1963 in London, Kentucky she married Ronald Dean Jones who preceded her in death on May 26, 2007. Cornelia worked for over 30 years for General Motors. She was a devoted wife, mother, grandmother, and sister. She loved spending time with her family, cooking their favorite dishes and story-telling that will be forever cherished. She was very creative and enjoyed gospel and country music. She was very giving and always willing to support her family and friends. Her strength and love will forever remain with those she loved. She is survived by her four daughters Karen (Joe Wright) Moeller, Sandra (John) Fugate, Renee (Jeff) Brinegar, and Amy (Jeff) Thomas; seven grandchildren Brandon, Nicholas, Austin, Luke, Bryanna, Matthew, and Laney; and her siblings Loretta (Ted) Asbury, Audrey Robinson, Janet (Joe) Copeland, Mary Rose (Glen) McKinney, Sharon (Delmar) Dalton, Eddie (Vicki) Watkins, and Susan Allen. Cornelia was also preceded in death by her brother John Watkins and her sister Linda Thomas. Her strength and love will forever remain with those she loved. Visitation at THE WEBSTER FUNERAL HOME 3080 Homeward Way at Rt. 4, Fairfield on Monday September 30, 2019 from 11:00 AM until the time of the funeral service at 12:00 PM, with Ken Rivera, officiating.
