Dad, you fought the good fight - fighting through broken bones, back surgeries, dialysis, colonoscopy, the progressive loss of your toes, foot, to eventually both legs. You kept the faith and kept fighting. Thank you for being a fine example as a father and a man! Thank you for instilling good values in us to be hard working but to take time to have fun too. You taught us to be loving, caring, generous and humble. Never to take yourself too seriously. You were more than just our dad - you were our coach, our mentor, our role model, our friend. Not only for Chris and I but our children as well. We love you - we will miss you - but we know that you are in a better place. No more pain. Reunited with Grandma & Grandpa, your sisters & your friends that passed before you. I know you are on the golf course hopefully hitting them long and straight maybe in the lanes making the pins fly - just one suggestion, when you get to play a round with JC, you might not want to do the “gotchie” move when he is standing over his putt!
- Jon
