David O. Rister Jr

David O. Rister Jr. age 76 of Hamilton passed away on Tuesday February 12, 2019. He was born on May 5, 1942 in Cincinnati the son of the late David Sr and Edna (nee Newcomb) Rister. David was a veteran of the United States Army. He was married to Gertrude “Trudy” Rister and she preceded him in death in 2017. He is survived by two children Kimberly (Keith Thompson) Gatten and Brian (Linda) Rister; five grandchildren Brianna Rister, Jessica Rister, Zachary Rister, Kaley Gatten, and Myckenzie Gatten; ten great grandchildren; and one brother Gordon (the late Donna) Rister. He also leaves behind many nieces, nephews and other family and close friends. He was also preceded in death by his first wife Patricia Rister; ten siblings George Bishop, Christopher Tittle, Marion Tittle, Marie Satler, Juanita Hills, Bill Tittle, Mack Rister, El-Rita Gossling, Sharon Rister and Marilyn Rister as well as many adopted siblings. Visitation will be on Monday February 18, 2019 at THE WEBSTER FUNERAL HOME 3080 Homeward Way at Rt. 4, Fairfield from 10:00AM until the time of the funeral at 11:00AM with Pastor Mario Bruni officiating.
