Delores Jean Cornett

Delores Jean Cornett, born in Hamilton on November 14, 1959 left us to be with the Lord on Sunday October 17, 2021 at the age of 61. She loved her family, crafts, dancing, being with friends, and trying new recipes. She married her best friend John Cornett on June 23, 1984 in Hamilton. Delores leaves behind her son Eric (Lisa Adelsperger) Blackburn; daughter Maranda Cornett; and someone who has always been like a daughter to her, Becky Sergent; fourteen precious grandchildren Joshua Blackburn, Nathan Blackburn, Zachary Blackburn, Kristoffer Winans, Johnathon Marchant, Ravan Marchant, Charles Harris, Patrick Harris, Victoria Lytle, Trystin Lytle, Kaitlynn Lytle, Brandon Thomas, Justin Thomas, and Kristi Allen; two dear great grandchildren Everleigh Marchant and James Sebastian Jr; seven sisters Kathy (Carl) Perry, Sheila (Earnest) Proffitt, Theresa (Perry) Garrett, Gail (Kevin) Ellison, Susan (Michael) Baynham, Vanessa (Mike) Radar, and Rena Kay Matthews. She also leaves behind many stepbrothers, stepsisters, nieces, nephews, other family, and close friends. She was preceded in death by her parents Harold and Joan Gullett; one sister Debbie Cook; two grandsons William Robert Winans and Braden Alan Lee Blackburn. Visitation will be on Thursday October 21, 2021 at THE WEBSTER FUNERAL HOME 3080 Homeward Way at Rt. 4, Fairfield from 10:00AM until the time of the funeral at 12:00PM with Pastor Nathan Haven officiating.
