Doris G. Becknell

Doris G. Becknell age 88 of Hamilton passed away on Thursday December 30, 2021. She was born on May 10, 1933 in Mt. Vernon, KY the daughter of the late Hobart and Cleo (nee Pennington) Griffin. She was married to John R. Becknell for 53 years and he preceded her in death in 2002. She was a lifelong member of the Order of Eastern Star, active member of Red Hat Society and Rosie Reds. Doris worked as a quality control inspector for Cincinnati Electronics for over 30 years. She is survived by two sons Bruce (Regina) Becknell and Curtis (Mary) Becknell; nine grandchildren Travis (Lindee) Becknell, Trent (Shawna) Becknell, Trisha (David) Becknell, Katherine (Ryan) Hill, Allison (Daniel) Wagner, Ashely (Brandon) Staffend, Blair Wilcox, Joshua Cox, and Dylan Cox; twelve great grandchildren Cora (Parker) Emmett, Thomas Burke, Addison Hill, Colton Hill, Emma Wagner, Eli Wagner, Bailey Becknell, Hunter Becknell, Calvin Becknell, Jonas Becknell, Tyler Hibbard, Lillian Wilcox, and Peyton Staffend. She also leaves behind many nieces, nephews, other family and close friends. She was preceded in death by two daughters Sandi Knotts and Kim Cox; one granddaughter Stacey Becknell; six siblings George Griffin, Shirley Griffin, Hobart Griffin Jr, Audrey Bogan, Florence McComas, and Edward Griffin. Visitation will be on Friday January 7, 2022 at THE WEBSTER FUNERAL HOME 3080 Homeward Way at Rt. 4, Fairfield from 11:00AM until the time of the funeral at 1:00PM.
