Dorothy Short

Dorothy Short age 86 of Hamilton passed away on Thursday July 16, 2020. She was born on February 18, 1934 in Perry County, KY. She worked at the Salvation Army for many years. Dorothy was married to Nelson Short and he preceded her in death in 1986. She is survived by four daughters Loretta (Donald) Taylor, Judy (Murphy) Napier, Lydia Short, and Teresa (Richard) Garrett; eleven grandchildren; twenty-two great grandchildren; and one sister Barb Barger. Dorothy was also preceded by her parents Clayton and Lula (nee Turner) Collins; one son James Short; one daughter Lula Faye Short; two sisters Mary Dozier and Christine Wargo. Visitation will be on Tuesday July 21, 2020 at THE WEBSTER FUNERAL HOME 3080 Homeward Way at Rt. 4, Fairfield from 10:00AM until the time of the funeral at 12:00PM, with Pastor Clovis Shackelford, officiating.
