Earl Holland

Earl Holland age 91 of Hamilton passed away on Monday July 5, 2021. He was born on April 9, 1930 in Clay County, KY the son of the late Melvin and Mildred (nee Rutherford) Holland. Earl married to Janet Davis in 1954. He was a veteran of the United States Army earning a Purple Heart for his courageous service in the Korean War. He retired from Champion Paper Company after many years of service. After retirement he drove semi-trucks for various trucking companies. He is survived by his loving wife of over 66 years Janet Holland; three sons Stephen (Shirley) Holland, Michael (Alison) Holland, and Kevin Scott Holland; two grandchildren April (Danny) Partin, and Stephen Holland; four great grandchildren Keagan Robinson, Lauryn Robinson, Samantha Robinson, and Hannah Partin; seven siblings George (June) Holland, Alfred (Judy) Holland, Bobby (Vanessa) Holland, Rebecca (the late Frank) Bowling, Phyllis (Ray) Hubbard, Velma (Carl) Bell, and Shirley (Lee Wayne) Hibbard. He was also survived by many nieces, nephews, other family and close friends. Earl was preceded in death by four siblings James Holland, Eulah Atwell, Emma Holland, and Berna Holland. The family would like to thank Earl’s niece Melanie Cain and daughter in law Shirley Holland for the compassionate care they gave Earl. Services will be held at Hamilton Assembly of God 1940 West Elkton Rd Hamilton OH 45013 on Saturday July 10, 2021 at 2:00PM. THE WEBSTER FUNERAL HOME is serving the family.
