Elfreda Schlichter

Elfreda Schlichter age 89 of Hamilton passed away Monday July 30, 2018. She was born August 23, 1928 in Whitesburg, Kentucky the daughter of the late Melvin and Ora Mae Adams. Mrs. Schlichter loved nature and the outdoors and greatly enjoyed entertaining family and friends. Mrs. Schlichter was married to Oscar F. Schlichter and he preceded her in death in 1991. She is survived by three daughters Linda (Wayne) Ponder, Katherine Schlichter, and Lisa Hayes; two grandchildren Amy (Mike) Schneider and Kevin (Arianne) Ponder; several great grandchildren; and two sisters Dorothy Taylor and Sue Frazier. She is also survived by her loving companion of 18 years, Donald Aschliman, who was also her loyal and compassionate care giver. She was also preceded in death by her two brothers Richard and James Adams. A private service for Mrs. Schlichter will be held at the convenience of the family.
