Erica Marie Pierce passed away on Tuesday, August 16, 2022. Erica was born in Hamilton, OH on January 18, 1989. She graduated from Hamilton High School in 2006. Erica started her own business named WyDye Customs (named after her son Wyatt). Her work was stunning and professional, creating beautiful custom designed clothing. Erica was an extraordinary artist, creating many beautiful items. This is how Erica described herself in her own words; sweet & sarcastic, fun & boring, nice & mean (but mostly nice), I love to create beautiful things. Erica was a very giving person. She was thoughtful and loving…such a good person. She was extremely smart, in fact she skipped 1st grade altogether! She was quite witty and very creative! Most importantly…beyond doubt…. is that Erica loved being a Mom to her son Wyatt. They loved doing all kinds of things together, he was the love of her life. They enjoyed drawing together, being outdoors, building forts, creating scavenger hunts, and everything they did as Mom and son! Erica loved to read to Wyatt and teach him many things, she really enjoyed helping and watching him learn. Wyatt always came first. He is her beautiful life’s work. Erica is survived by her son Wyatt Joseph Proffitt, her mother Cindy Heinrich Young, her father Roger Pierce and stepfather Frank Young and her Grandma Joyce Sampsel. She is also survived by her two sisters, Sarah (Tonhy) Crawford and Brooke Pierce and nephews Jacob Abla, Justus Turner, Henry Crawford, and Jimmy Turner. She is also survived by many aunts, uncles, cousins, and friends. She was preceded in death by her grandparents Robert & Margaret Heinrich and grandmother Leatha Rowe, and her Uncles Joe Heinrich and Jimmy Heinrich. A Memorial Service will be held at Webster Funeral Home, 3080 Homeward Way, Fairfield, OH 45014 on Saturday August 20, 2022 at 4:00 PM, with Reverend Corey Wagonfield, officiating.
