Ervin A. Wentz age 81 of Hamilton passed away Monday December 30, 2024. He was born April 15, 1943 in Pittsburgh, Pennsylvania the son of the late Richard S. Wentz and Phyllis A. (nee Agate) Wentz. Mr. Wentz was a Captain in the United States Air Force. He was a leader in manufacturing and worked as a real estate broker. Mr. Wentz’s life included love for sailing, dogs, and trains. He is survived by his wife Barbara (nee Williamson) Wentz; children, Jennifer (Tony) DiTullio and Michael (Sonya) Wentz; grandchildren, the late Alexis Overbey, Gaby (Hudson) Kragness, Michaela Wentz, Grayson DiTullio, and Cady DiTullio; great grandchildren, Rosemary Kragness, Hazel Kragness, Norah Kragness, and Marigold Kragness; brother James (Jan) Wentz; sister Janie (Andy) Richardson. He was also preceded in death by his brother Thomas Wentz. A memorial service will be held on Saturday January 11, 2025 at 1:00PM at The Presbyterian Church, 20 S. Front Street, Hamilton, with Pastor John H. Lewis, Officiating. A reception will follow the church service in the Theobald Room at Berkeley Square Retirement Center 100 Berkeley Square Hamilton 45013 . In lieu of flowers memorial contributions would be appreciated to The Presbyterian Church of Hamilton. Mr. Wentz will be laid to rest privately at Rose Hill Burial Park.
