Gene Arnold “Sammy” Smith age 56 of Hamilton passed away on Thursday February 18, 2021. He was born in Hamilton, OH on October 26, 1964 the son of the late Gene and Carol (nee Winkler) Smith. Gene owned a roofing company for many years. He is survived by his loving wife Kimberly Smith; six children Gordon (Leada) Friend, Samantha Fox, Joseph (Tabitha Clemmons) Smith, Tessie Smith, Olivia (Eric) Conerly, Chelsie (fiancé Josh Young) Smith; one sister Lisa (Dean) Hast; one son in law Justin Fox; four brothers and sisters in law Zula Collins, Curt Collins, Penny Collins, and Cindy Stamper. He also leaves behind many grandchildren, nieces, nephews, other family and close friends. He was also preceded in death by one sister DeeDee Smith and one brother Curtis Smith. Visitation will be on Thursday February 25, 2021 at THE WEBSTER FUNERAL HOME 3080 Homeward Way at Rt. 4, Fairfield from 10:00 AM until the time of funeral at 12:00 PM with Pastor Wendell Coning officiating.
