George G. Hanlon

George Hanlon age 70, of Fairfield, Ohio passed away on Sunday, February 9, 2025. He was born on September 25, 1954, to the late Walter and Edna Jean (Morrow) Hanlon in East Liverpool, Ohio.

George is survived by his children, Emily (Peter Sprangers) Hanlon and Nick Hanlon; brother, David (Millie) Hanlon; his long time partner, Kim Dunn. George was preceded in death by his parents, Walter and Edna Jean Hanlon.

George graduated from Bethany College in Bethany, West Virginia in 1977. George was a member of the Beta Theta Phi fraternity and a proud alumnus who enjoyed returning and supporting his alma mater. He worked for 35 years at YRC Freight (formerly Roadway), retiring in 2019. George was a devoted Steelers fan and a lifelong admirer of the Grateful Dead. In his final years he enjoyed attending church at Hope Baptist Church in Fairfield, Ohio.
