Gladys Mink age 79 of Fairfield passed away on Wednesday October 10, 2018. She was born on September 19, 1939 in Williamsburg, KY the daughter of the late Owen and Tempe (nee Taylor) Elswick. On January 29, 1961 she married Wilbert Mink. She is survived by her loving husband of over 57 years Wilbert “Gene” Mink; two daughters Connie (Chris) Tankersley and Angela (Jeramie) Jones; eight grandchildren Carl Anthony (Emma) Mink, Roger Dale Thornberry, Randy Thornberry, Shelby Mink, Adrianna Mink, Jacob Jones, Riley Jones, and Alexandra Jones; one great grandchild Colton Mink; two sisters Venus Bryant and Bonnie (Melvin) Hyde; and one daughter in law Jamey Mink. She was also preceded in death by her son Carl Mink; three brothers Claude Shelton, Glenn Elswick, and Dennis Elswick; and one sister Cleda Miller. Visitation will be on Friday October 12, 2018 at THE WEBSTER FUNERAL HOME 3080 Homeward Way at Rt. 4, Fairfield from 12:00PM until the time of the funeral at 1:00PM with Pastor Jerry Pelfrey officiating.
