Hazel Mccoy

Hazel McCoy age 81 of Hamilton passed away on Sunday May 10, 2020 in her home. She was born June 13, 1938 in Stay, KY the daughter of the late Chester and Nancy (nee Moore) Tirey. On December 26, 1953 in Richmond, Indiana she married Bobby E. McCoy and he preceded her in death on March 3, 2016. Mrs. McCoy was a devoted wife, mother, grandmother, great grandmother and great great grandmother who loved spending time with her family. She will be sadly missed by her large family and many friends. She is survived by her 11 children Teresa (Russell) Doyle, Bobby (fiance Lisa Noble) McCoy, Dean McCoy, Carol (Kenneth) Stivers, Tim McCoy, Rev. Darryl (Denise) McCoy, Linda (Bobby) Duncan, Charlene “Renee” Perkins, Charlotte (Shaun) Singleton, Gail (Randall) Sorber, and Dale McCoy; 38 grandchildren; 32 great grandchildren; 7 great great grandchildren and one brother Chester (Trudy) Tirey, Jr. She was also preceded in death by her sisters Lola, Emma, Wywan, and Bertha; brothers Wilburn, Conley, Oather, Lloyd, Lester, Ed, Willie, Walter, Dan, and Eli; son in law James Asher; daughter in law Linda, and daughter in law Shawna. Visitation will be held Thursday May 14, 2020 at The Fairfield Church of God 6001 Dixie Hwy Fairfield from 10:00 AM until the time of the funeral service at 12:00 PM, with her son Reverend Darryl McCoy, officiating.
