Ida Rose Bowlin age 89 of Fairfield passed away Monday July 15, 2024. She was born July 22, 1934 in London, Kentucky the daughter of the late Leslie Jones and Mattie Crook Jones. She was married to Virgil Bowlin who preceded her in death on September 19, 2021 after 69 years of marriage. Mrs. Bowlin was a devoted wife, mother, homemaker, and grandmother who enjoyed cooking, flowers, and bird watching. She will be sadly missed by her beloved family and many friends. She is the dear mother of Danny (Teresa) Bowlin and the late Tommy (Cindy) Bowlin; grandmother of Krissy (Jason) Gibson, Kyle (Kim) Bowlin, Frank (Susan) Bowlin, and Rebecca Duggins; great grandmother of Taylor, Ryan, Kanon, Reagan, Mason, Kyler, and Michael; and sister of Johnny Jones, Glen (Barbara) Jones, and Frank (Wilma) Jones. Visitation at THE WEBSTER FUNERAL HOME 3080 Homeward Way at Rt. 4, Fairfield on Monday July 22, 2024 from 10:00 AM until the time of the funeral service at 12:00 PM, with Pastor Dennis Whitaker, officiating.
