James E. Johnson age 82 of Hamilton passed away on Tuesday July 2, 2019. He was born on June 26, 1937 in Laurel County the son of the late Benjamin and Cora (nee Bowling) Johnson. James was married to Ruth Johnson and she preceded him in death in 2009. James is survived by two brothers Leonard (Shirlene) Johnson and Benjamin Johnson Jr; three sisters Louise Wagner, Margie Gabbard and Irene Linkous. He is also survived by many nieces, nephews, other family and close friends. James was also preceded in death by several brothers and sisters. A graveside service will be held at 1:00PM on Monday July 8, 2019 at Rose Hill Burial Park.
