James F Honeycutt Jr. age 82, from Hamilton passed away, Friday December 15, 2023. James was born on January 23, 1941 in Charlotte, NC to James F Honeycutt Sr.And Jenelle Honeycutt (Jones).

James retired from GE Aviation after working there for over 30 years. Upon retiring from GE James worked part time at Fairfield Super Wash. He really enjoyed working at the car wash and seeing all the nice cars come in and out of the car wash.
James enjoyed baseball and football his favorite teams were the Cincinnati Reds and the Cincinnati Bengals as well as the North Carolina Tar Heels. Family and friends enjoyed his little quirks he would make to get you laughing.
James was a beloved Father, Grandfather, Great Grandfather and Friend.
James at one point years ago enjoyed watching NASCAR and collected NASCAR memorabilia and had lots of it. His favorite driver was Mark Martin.
He was preceded in death by his parents James and Jenelle Honeycutt and a brother Fred Honeycutt and a sister Sandra Williams also his nephew Bill Honeycutt. He is survived by his children Amy (Scott) Moore, Cindy (Greg) Hassler and Steven Honeycutt. He is also survived by his grandchildren Paige (Matt) Taylor, Kyla (James) Hassler, Mason (Megan) Hassler, Owen Moore, Isabelle Moore and Evan (Katelyn) Moore. He is also survived by his great grandchildren Kenzie, Jessie, Alice, Raelee, Greyson, Baylie, Ronin and a great grandson coming June 2024. He is survived by a number of nieces and nephews and other family members and friends.
A private funeral service was held on December 19, 2023 thanks to Webster Funeral Home. Burial was at Millville Cemetery.

James was a great Father and very much loved and he will be greatly missed by many.
