James L. Gatliff

James “Buddy” L. Gatliff age 76, of Hamilton, Ohio passed away on Wednesday, February 5, 2025. He was born on February 14, 1949, to the late Clarence and Viola (Hensley) Gatliff. James was a United States Marines veteran. He spent many years working for the US Postal Service.

James will be dearly missed by his granddaughter, Krista (Jake) Wolfe; brother, Clarence “Sonny” Gatliff; sister Juanita “Cricket” Burress; his nieces, Denise (John) Lowry and Patti (Neil) Dawson; his nephew Michael Burress; great nieces, Deja Burress and Loran Lowry, and his numerous other family and friends.

James was preceded in death by his wife, Carol Morris who passed away in 2020; stepson, Keith Cox; his sister, Ethel “Punkin” Potts.

A visitation will be held on Monday, February 10, 2025, at THE WEBSTER FUNERAL HOME 3080 Homeward Way, at Rt.4 Fairfield, from 10:00 AM until the time of the funeral service at 11:00 AM with Pastor Barry Wilson officiating.
