James "Jim" Wright, Sr.

James “Jim” K. Wright, Sr. age 79 of Reading passed away on Wednesday November 10, 2021. He was born on May 22, 1942 in Cincinnati the son of the late William and Marcella (nee Sellmeyer) Wright. He retired from General Electric as welder and also worked for the City of Reading for 19 years part time after he retired to keep himself busy. He is survived by his loving wife of over 30 years Lynn Wright; two sons James K. (Julie) Wright, Jr. and Kevin (Jill) Wright and one stepdaughter Darla (Terry) Dietz; nine grandchildren Cory (Emma) Wright, Amber Wright, Megan Wright, Gavin Wright, Bethann (Nick) Wilkerson, Lakrisha Van Kirk, TJ Dietz, Russell Dietz, and Christian Dietz; seven great grandchildren; seven siblings Thomas Wright, Barbara Tuerck, Ronald Wright, Sue Hunt, Frank Wright, Michael Wright, and Jeffrey Wright. He also leaves behind many nieces, nephews other family and close friends. James was preceded in death by his stepson Russell Owens; and two siblings William Wright and Robert Wright. Visitation will be on Thursday November 18, 2021 at THE WEBSTER FUNERAL HOME 3080 Homeward Way at Rt. 4, Fairfield from 5:00PM until the time of the memorial service at 7:00PM with Pastor Levi Crowley officiating.
