James Monroe Brown Profile Photo

James Monroe Brown was born in Yosemite, Casey County, KY on August 27, 1937 and passed away July 25th at 7:30 AM at Kettering Health in Hamilton, OH. He was born to Okla and Mary Emily (Watson) Brown. Brownie was a kind and gentle man. He never met a stranger and always had a smile. He would give a stranger the shirt off his back, always more concerned about their needs other than his own. All he ever wanted to do was be a salesman, and he was a good one. He worked at different sales positions in his early years. He sold appliances at Sears in Northgate Mall for a few years but his most loved job was at McSwain Carpets. He worked there for over 30 years and retired from there. He leaves behind his wife and love of his life, Marcia of 44 years, his son James Michael Brown and daughter in law Cinde’ and his grandson Jessee of St. George Utah; three siblings Garry Brown, Delores Franklin, and Carolyn Holbrook all of Kentucky, and his beloved beagle Charlie. He was preceded in death by his parents, daughter Vicki Sue Brown and three brothers, Thomas Mearle, Russell and Darrell. He will be greatly missed by many family members, neighbors and friends. Rest in peace my love. A memorial service will be held at a later date. Memorial contributions would be appreciated to Animal Friends of Butler County, 1820 Princeton Road, Hamilton, Ohio 45011 or Hamilton New Life Vineyard Church, 1701 Princeton Road, Hamilton, Ohio 45011. THE WEBSTER FUNERAL HOME, Fairfield is serving the family. www.websterfuneralhomes.com
