James E. Shuler, Jr. age 64 of Hamilton passed away Thursday February 20, 2025. He was born December 8, 1960 in Irvine, Kentucky the son of Juanita (Butler) Shuler and the late James Shuler, Sr. Mr. Shuler worked for over thirty years as a heavy equipment operator for Martin-Marietta Materials and also drove for many years for Butler Trucking in Indianapolis and Overpeck Trucking Company. He was a member of the Steel Workers Union. He enjoyed auctions, antiques, and fishing. In his younger days, Mr. Shuler enjoyed demolition derbies. Mr. Shuler looked forward to the Barrett-Jackson auto auctions every year as well as the US Nationals drag racing competitions. He was known as a hard worker and even kept very busy during his illness. Anything anybody needed, Jr. would make sure it was provided. He is survived by his mother Juanita Shuler; his wife Virginia Shuler; one son Tyler (Laura) Tusing; one daughter Allison Oaks; two grandsons Abel Tusing and Emmett Tusing; one sister Donna (Tim) Fields, and one brother Ernie Shuler. He is also survived by many nieces, nephews, other family members and a host of close friends.
