James W. Sasser

James W.Sasser age 85 of Fairfield passed away Friday June 22, 2018. He was born July 28, 1932 in Gibbs, Kentucky the son of the late Charles and Mellie Sasser. Mr. Sasser was a decorated corporal in the U. S. Army during the Korean War and was the recipient of 5 Bronze Stars during battle. He was married to Sophia Sasser and she preceded him in death on December 29, 2017. He worked for many years at Mosler Safe Company in Hamilton. Mr. Sasser is the beloved father of Charles (Virginia) Sasser, Shawn Sasser, Deborah Sasser, Jennifer Sasser, Elvanetta (Jay) Godfrey, and the late Sylvia Bowman, Ronnie Sasser, and Jimmy Sasser; grandfather of twelve; great grandfather of ten; and dear brother of Jack (Joy) Sasser, Arbutus , and the late Clovis Sasser. A graveside service will held at 11:00 AM Friday June 29, 2018 at Rose Hill Burial Park with full military honors.
