Obituary For Jeffrey D. Smith

Jeffrey D. Smith age 51 of Fairfield Township passed away Saturday September 25, 2021. He was born June 5, 1970 in Springfield, Ohio. He was employed for 14 years at Verizon Wireless, most recently as a principal engineer on the network planning team. Jeff’s main passion was spending time with his children. He devoted his life to loving and taking care of his family. He was a leader in his son’s Trail Life Troop and often coached his children’s sports teams. Some of Jeff’s other hobbies included fishing (especially with his best friend Mason), riding his motorcycle, being a part of Volusia Riders, and watching OSU Football. Condolences

  • I am so sorry to hear about Jeff. I did not know him but heard about his story. My deepest sympathy to you and all of your family. God Bless 🙏🏼 RIP Jeff

  • I'm am heartbroken! I read your story, and was so Proud that you fought for your husband so hard. I too, prayed and donated a healing offering on his behalf. May those wicked HEARTLESS people, who would never allow their loved one treated this way, see justice from above, albeit in this life or the world to come, for this crass self righteous disregard for a wonderful man, who would still be with us. I'm happy for Jeff, that the suffering is over and he will be whole in the resurrection to come, but my heart aches for you and the family. May God assign one of his angel to keep all of you safe. --Richard Toy, in Huron Ohio.

  • Terribly sorry about Jeff's passing. Sincerest condolences to Jeff's wonderful family, deeply sorry about how painful this terrible ordeal has been for them, particularly all the heartache they had to go through due to the heartless and incompetent medical system.

Julie, I do not know you, but you are strong and amazing. Continuing to pray for you and your beautiful children.

  • I remember when we used to talk about vaccinating ourselves to protect our families. It seems like an incredible expense to not vaccinate. All that time we could have saved with our families...wow.

  • In the name of Jesus. May you feel peace and love.
