Joel S. Mechler age 65 of Cincinnati passed away Friday February 15, 2019. He was born March 19, 1953 in Cincinnati, Ohio the son of the late Ferdinand and Margaret (nee Fronsoe) Mechler. Mr. Mechler worked as a traffic Controller for C.T.S.. He was a Boy Scout Leader and enjoyed the outdoors. He was a hunter, fisherman, painter, and was fond of photography and making models. He is survived by two daughters Joelinda Thompson-Acevedo and Samantha (Justin) Skaggs; his domestic partner and soul mate Darlene Scott; three grandchildren Andrew Joaquin Thompson, Ella Brynn Skaggs, and Hunter Owen Skaggs; one brother David (Cheryl) Mechler; two sisters Lynn (Dennis) Hennig and Ivy Carlotta, and a half sister Nicci Mechler. Visitation for Mr. Mechler will be on Tuesday February 19, 2019 at THE WEBSTER FUNERAL HOME 3080 Homeward Way at Rt. 4, Fairfield from 5:00 PM until the time of the funeral service at 7:00 PM, with Pastor Barry Wilson, officiating.
