John “Little Johnny” B. Scott, age 85, of Fairfield, Ohio, passed away on April 13, 2025, at Sanctuary Point. Johnny was born on October 30, 1939, in Hardy, Kentucky on Narrow Branch to the late Bradley and Nancy (Coleman) Scott. He married Ollie (Farley) on January 26, 1963, and together they raised two beautiful daughters, Sandi Neumann and Karen Scott. Johnny was known for his quiet demeanor, genuine smile, and kindness. He was always ready to help someone in need and treated friends as family. Johnny had a passion for gardening that was a point of great pride for many years. He shared his garden with many family and friends who raved about his juicy tomatoes and the zucchinis. His true passion was working on cars or ‘talking shop.’ For a profession, he started his career as a Metal Spinner and then worked as a Millwright for over 30 years. After retiring from Sawbrook Steel Company, Johnny could be found playing cards with family, fishing, or tinkering in the garage. He is preceded in death by his infant grandsons William and Brandon Neumann; 3 brothers Burlin, Dave (Joyce) and Sterl (Queenie) Scott. He was a loving husband to his wife Ollie Mae for 62 years and is survived by his wife Ollie; 2 daughters Sandi (Bill) Neumann of Maineville, Ohio, and Karen (Sammy Camargo) Scott of Columbus Ohio. He is survived by his two granddaughters Karrington and Kaitlin Neumann of Maineville Ohio. He also leaves behind two siblings BettyJo (Homer) Justice and BobbyJean (Frank) Smith and one sister-in-law Joyce Scott; and a host of nieces and nephews. Visitation will be on Thursday April 17, 2025 at THE WEBSTER FUNERAL HOME 3080 Homeward Way at Rt. 4, Fairfield from 11:00AM until the time of the funeral at 12:00PM with Pastor Barry Wilson of Hilltop Baptist Church officiating and a lunch will follow at Johnny’s favorite restaurant Richard's Pizza in Fairfield.
