Kaylie Elizabeth Jackson passed away due a tragic accident on Monday April 30, 2018 at the young age of 17. She was born in Cincinnati June 17, 2000 to Eric Jackson and Amanda Garcia. From the moment she was born, Kaylie was a bright light to all who knew and loved her. She was on the cusp of adulthood: thriving in her senior year of high school with big plans for her bright future. She was a treasure. Kaylie is survived by her devoted father Eric Jackson, loving mother Amanda Garcia, brother Bentley Chapman, grandmother Cindy Garcia, grandparents Greg and Bonnie Jackson, aunt Ashley Snyder (Mike), aunt Mary Orlando (Jason), uncle Andrew Garcia (Katie), cousins Annabelle, Madelyn, & Carina Orlando, and A.J. & Aviana Garcia, great-grandparents Jack and Bonnie Kleberg, great-grandparents Elsa and Abelardo Garcia, a large and loving extended family, and countless friends. Kaylie was preceded in death by her beloved grandfather (Tony Garcia). Kaylie was born in Cincinnati and raised in the communities of West Chester and Monroe. As a child, she loved soccer, playing with the family dogs, and adventuring in nature. Innate in her personality was an energetic joyful demeanor that she passed along to everyone with whom she spent time. Kaylie had a curiosity for knowledge, a brilliant mind, a caretaker heart, and a grand sense of fun. As a senior at Monroe High School, Kaylie was active in National Honor Society and a vibrant member of the student body. Anatomy, science, and research were among Kaylie’s avid interests, and she had done an incredible amount of hard work to achieve her dream of preparing to major in pre-med at The Ohio State University starting this fall. An open visitation will be held at Liberty Heights Church 7904 Princeton Rd Liberty Township 45044 on Sunday May 6, 2018 from 2:00-6:00pm.
