Condolences

When I think back on my fondest memories of my work at The Ronald McDonald House of Chapel Hill, so many of those memories were shared with Miss Kelsea and her momma Holly! We shared a love of cats and she enjoyed visits with my resident cats at the House. I still cherish the drawings she made for me of my pets and the ceramic animal figurines she gave me as a going away gift when I moved North. They still sit in my office today...forever a reminder of just how strong one can be when faced with some of life's most difficult challenges. Kelsea's smile was infectious and her love of life unmatched! Her spirit and smile will live on through all who were blessed to know her! Love you Kelsea! Take care of my kitties until we meet again!

It was always a great day at the Ronald McDonald House when Kelsea and Holly stopped by for a visit...on your way to see Dr. Gold or off to PF Chang’s....Kelsea in her latest cat-inspired fashion statement with the world’s most loyal, fierce mom. You were both an inspiration to so many people. Everyone at the House sends our love!

Matthew 19:14 says: but Jesus said, “Let the little children come to me and do not hinder them, for to such belongs the kingdom of heaven.” Holly, Scott,Nolan and Griffin, Kelsea is the brightest shinning light in heaven right now. she is sharing all of her stories about how wonderful her family was and how much she was loved and cared for. I will miss that little ray of sunshine every single day. However, I am so thankful that she no longer has to endure anymore surgeries, treatments or hospitals. She is where she can be happy, healthy and whole. I love you all and I truly loved “My Sweet Carolina GIRL”! The world was a better and much happier place with her in it.
