Ladonna Diaz

LaDonna Faye (Barthuly) Diaz of Kansas City, Kansas passed away Friday December 14, 2018 at her daughter’s home in Fairfield, Ohio. She was born September 29, 1937 in Waubonsie, Kansas the daughter of the late Fred and Thelma (Wade) Barthuly. Mrs. Diaz graduated from Paxico High School and worked as a secretary for Governor George Docking for a few years. She also worked at Mobil Oil and the State of Kansas School for the Blind and Deaf. She was a wonderful mother and helped others when they needed help. She was a huge Chiefs and Royals fan. She was married to the late Benjamin Diaz for 30 years. She is the mother of Benjamin (Joan) Diaz, Steve (partner Gregg Wyatt) Diaz, Penny (Jason) Taylor, Kathleen (David) Ritchie, LaDonna Diaz, Anthony (Amber) Diaz, Aaron (Nicole) Diaz, and the late Teresa Mary Diaz. She was a dear sister to the late Fred, Billy, Donald, and Dorothy Barthuly. Mrs. Diaz is also survived by 21 grandchildren and 4 great grandchildren. She was loved by lots of nieces, nephews, cousins, aunts, uncles, and brothers and sisters in law. Services and burial will take place at a later date in Kansas.
