Laura Nichole Freeman age 40 passed away Wednesday November 4, 2020. She was born December 19, 1979 in Hamilton to the late Darryl Simpson and Cynthia Banfield. On June 9, 2018 she married Ryan Freeman. Laura is survived by her loving husband Ryan Freeman; mother; siblings Susan Banfield, Jeremy (Bobbie) Simpson, Natasha Simpson, Jennifer Simpson, Sarah Simpson; mother in law Sherri (Frank) Doria; Father in law Tommy “Poppy” Freeman; Grandmother Janet “Dumplin” Banfield; grandfather Howard Simpson; brother in law Brent Doria; aunts Loretta Perry, Annette Banfield-Speight, Natalie Banfield, Beverly (Robert) Freel, Rhonda (Gentry) Stevens, Gina (Mark) Hertel; uncles David (Vicky) Simpson, Alfonso Smith, James Simpson, Dale Peters, and was also survived by many nieces, nephews, family and friends. She was also preceded in death by special aunt Doris Johnson, aunt Birdella Peters, aunt Rebecca “Sissy” Asher, uncles George Banfield and Terry Simpson; grandfather George “Buster” Banfield, and grandmother Ruth McVey. The family would like to extend a special thank you to Dr. Paula Weisenberger, the OHC staff, Vitas Hospice Homecare staff, and honorary sisters Bobbie Simpson and Kelly Dunaway.
