Laureen G. Witherby

Laureen G. Witherby, age 64 of Fairfield, Ohio passed away peacefully on December 19, 2023 after a several month battle with illness resulting in multiple complications. She was born on October 2, 1959 in Nyack, New York to Eugene Getz and Joanne Getz. Beloved wife of 41 years to Stephen C. Witherby and also mother to her son, Christopher M. Witherby. She is survived by her brother, Steven Getz and sister, Elizabeth Lindquist. Laureen (Lori) had many interests and worked a variety of different jobs in her adult life; beautician, office manager for Dr, Jerrold Levin, sales rep for Loreal cosmetics and also a caregiver with Home Instead. She was also caring for her father who currently lives in our home. She loved cooking for her family and enjoyed going to listen to her husband, Steve’s band. Lori made many new dear friends along the way. She shared a special passion with her husband for all our rescue dogs, who also miss her tremendously.
