This is our Dad
Our Dad, that went to all our sporting events
Drove us to school… when we missed the bus.. some of us more than others
Packed our lunches
Taught us to drive
Taught us how to fix our cars
Helped us fix our own homes
Took us golfing
He even tried fishing… TWICE
He loved his parents very much and they loved him
He loved his older brother Donald
He adored his kids, grandkids, and great grandkids
When we were teenagers – He said we could always come to him & mom if we had a problem
Mom always said she was spoiled, Dad could do, build & repair anything and do it better then anyone they tried to hire
Dad always took care of Mom &was thankful for the way Mom took care of him
He always said… that Mom of yours… She is a good kid… you know it!
In his retired years, he told stories we all heard before. Dad would laugh as he retold them, his lips would turn up, his face would crinkle up so much that you could no longer see his eyes, he would turn red with joy, we would all be cracked up by this time along with him.
We were all tickled by his spirit
We will always love our Dad.
