Lawrence Joseph Wissman

Lawrence Joseph Wissman Jr, age 55 of West Chester passed away on Monday February 7, 2022. He was born on January 22, 1967 in Hamilton the son of the late Lawrence Joseph and Brenda Rhea (nee Hammock) Wissman. He graduated from Landmark Christian School in 1985. He began a career in the security field. There he excelled to the level of Sergeant where he enjoyed mutual respect and friendship with his superiors and co-workers. His most gratifying time was spent with the professional security team at Cincinnati Children’s Hospital, where he devoted 20 years of his life. Larry was known as a selfless person, willing to help anyone in need. He was an advocate for self defense and safety. He found strength in his faith and encouraged others to be the best they could be. The loss of Larry leaves a forever void in our hearts, remedied only by the hopes of seeing him again one day. He greatly will be missed. He is survived by his long-time love and best friend, Alicia Holden; other family members Shauna Leininger, Alisa Vrable, Brian Fink, Jennifer Counts, Steven Wilson, Dana McDannold, Carol Hutson, Linda Myers, Cheryl Hammock, Jim Wilson, Bill Hutson, Steve Hutson, Ron Hutson, Tonya, Jimmie, Crystal, and numerous other cousins and close friends. Larry was preceded in death by his beloved parents, grandparents Bailey Lee and Ruth Hammock, Jimmie Hammock, Debbie Baker, Eric McDannold, and Samantha Fink. The family has entrusted THE WEBSTER FUNERAL HOME with the arrangements. Visitation will be on Monday March 7, 2022 at Fairfield Church of God 6001 Dixie Hwy Fairfield 45014 from 11:00AM until the time of the funeral at 1:00PM with Pastor Barry Wilson officiating.
