Leon Fields

Leon Fields, 67, of Ocala FL, was called home to be with the lord on January 10, 2025 in his home surrounded by his loved ones. Leon was born in Hamilton, OH to Grant and Helen Boggs Fields on June 14, 1957. He went to high school at Garfield Senior High and graduated in 1975. He started in September 1998 at Valley Janitor Supply in a Sales Representative role. He was transferred to the sister company (Kaivac) in 2017 where he developed a floorcare program for a national customer. He retired from Kaivac in mid-2022. He fulfilled his lifelong dream after retirement of moving to Florida. He was an avid golfer. He started playing at Potters in Hamilton, OH where he developed the love for the sport. He also enjoyed spending time with his family, watching the grandkids play sports and time with friends. Leon is survived by his best friend and loving wife, Maureen (Hamilton, OH) of 25 years. His children – Dustin Fields (Lindsey Campbell), Nick Fields (Mica Pendergrass), Stacy Fields McQueen (Chad), Kristy Fields Potter (Tyler), Kelly Hall Proffitt (Mark), Jennifer Hall Stephany (David Shoemaker), his mother Helen Fields, sister Regina (Jesse) Woods, and mother-in-law, Arline Gayhart. He had 16 grandchildren and 5 great-grandchildren. Leon was preceded in death by his father Grant Fields. He was loved by so many and will be greatly missed.
