Papaw Letcher was a man of his word, always did good for those around him, he followed in the lords footsteps down a path of kindness, he's brought me down the path of kindness with him, he always taught me manners and how to treat others and be a respectful little man, but there's many things in life that you've taught me, how to cut grass as a little boy, apply the right coats of paint to things we'd build together, and most importantly going on fishing trips, you were the first person to give me a rod and reel and show me the ropes of fishing, like the time where we went to your buddy's house and fished the day away, I caught bluegill left and right and you only had time to catch one bass because you were too busy caught up putting night crawlers on my hook, but o' boy was that a trip ill never forget, and the times where you taught me how to value things in life, like saving things of age to have value someday, just like the coins I have that you always promised to give me when I got older, and all the useful makeshift things we would make like wooden slingshots, carve things and the bow me tried to make that didn't work out so well, I'm gonna miss all of it papaw, especially how we always talked about how someday I would be old enough to drive you and mamaw around to menards and walmart and so on but whenever I go to either store then ill know you'll be in the passenger seat right next to me, and how someday you would be there with me when I got my first car, you'll always be with me no matter what this world brings, and I know you'll watch over me and guide me while I play my first highschool baseball game, I love you papaw, rest easy and may god watch over your soul- love your oldest grandson Aiden

Dad, i love you so much as you know, just how we used to say i love you more then you know. You taught me so much in life, rather it be with cars, house repairs, finance and life that i will always remember. Being close to you meant the world to me. I enjoyed when we did things together, we thought a lot alike. I could call you day or night and you would be right there. I will continue watching over mom, Julie, aiden, xander and barry just as you asked. I will see you soon dad. There isn't a better man, husband, dad, grandpapaw or great grandpapaw in this world. There wont be a day i wont think about you and i know you will continue to watch over all of us. I love you dad, your daughter. Paula (your baby girl).

Letcher was an amazing man. He was a long time friend to my parents and was always there for my mother after my father passed away. As a kid, I remember his loving ways and his warm smile. You will be missed but we'll meet again.
